Long Bio

Somewhere between backroads, church pews, and Sunday drives, you’ll find Tristen Culton, a young worship leader with a passion for God’s people. Culton is a CCA National Champion clogger and runner up “World Percussive Best of the Best” dancer.  Her percussive dance abilities and roots in leading small town church worship equip her with a strong background in performing. Through the week, she dedicates her time to nourishing her musical integrity at Belmont University.  She also balances directing at Studio One School of Dance. On Sunday morning, you can find her playing drums, guitar, and often music directing at Calvary Christian Church while wearing her favorite rhinestone boots.

Her inspirations include James Taylor, Keith Urban, Brandon Lake, Anne Wilson, Jelly Roll, Carrie Underwood, and Thomas Rhett.  Developing her own musical voice, she has studied guitar under composing artists Alan Robinson, Robert Thompson, and 12 South band member, John Cardoni. She studies drums with Rascal Flatts drummer, Jim Riley, and Caleb Crosby who currently tours with Kelsea Ballerini.

Her mission that began in her clogging feet has extended through to the resounding of each note as she uses her gifts to lead others on their faith journey.  Keeping the audience on their toes, they'll have to guess whether she'll be strumming, drumming, or on her toes clogging.
